December 21, 2007 The puppies are four weeks old. They were wormed for the second time today. More of their color is beginning to show up now. Several of the puppies appear to have more mottling in their paws and noses than others. The seventh born puppy (girl) continues to be the smallest weight wise but is very nicely put together proportionately. The sixth puppy (boy) continues to be the heaviest and has earned the nickname "Bruiser". He is a healthy eater and continues to eat when the other puppies are finished. They are much more active these days and it is harder to weigh them. They don't like going into the canvas bag and hanging from the fish scale so I can get their weight! They try to climb out of the bag now so their weights are "approximate". To see pictures of Lucy's litter at eight weeks old click here.
